Elk Haven Winery has its roots in the crisp environment of North-Central Idaho – a short distance from the southern end of Lake Coeur d’Alene. At 2,600 feet our Single Tree Vineyard produces the perfect balance to create ‘high elevation’ white wines more accustomed to cooler climates. Our winemaker, Ellie Zeron, has long boasted of Red Mountain and its ability to produce deeply rich and unique red wine.

Once we saw the area and what is now the view from the tasting room we knew it was a perfect fit for us. On that first visit we placed a rock where the corner of the tasting room would be completed less than eight months later.
